PRIVACY NOTICE

This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Dr. Gürkan Korkmaz as the Data Controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

Purpose of the Privacy Notice

During your application to our clinic, whether through our website, social media accounts, or in person, your personal data may be obtained automatically or non-automatically. This Notice explains for which purposes your personal data will be processed, how it will be stored, to whom and for what purposes it may be transferred, the method and legal basis for data collection, and your rights under KVKK.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

A- Website Visitors (Online Users)

Cookies:
Our website uses first-party session and persistent cookies only for the provision of services. Session cookies are deleted once the browser is closed, while persistent cookies remain until a certain date or period of time.
Cookies can be used for necessary, functional, or marketing purposes. On our website, only strictly necessary cookies are used to provide the information society services you explicitly request. Your personal data may be processed in connection with your IP information.

Contact & Appointment Forms:
Through our website forms, personal data such as name, surname, phone number, email address, and message details are collected. These are processed for communication, providing treatment offers, and managing requests/complaints. Such data may be shared with judicial authorities and competent public institutions upon legal request.

B- Patients and Potential Patients

During your application, diagnosis, treatment, or related procedures, your personal data — including identity, contact details, security information, financial data, visual/audio records, health data, and when applicable, travel data — are processed in connection with and limited to the stated purposes.

C- Visitors

For visitors to our clinic, personal data such as identity, contact, physical security, financial data, visual/audio records, and certain health information (e.g., temperature check) may be processed in connection with and limited to the stated purposes.

Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through our units, website, social media accounts, call center, mobile applications, information systems, documents, and security cameras.
Personal data are processed based on the legal grounds set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK, including: explicit consent, legal obligations, legitimate interests, establishment/defense of a right, protection of public health, and provision of medical diagnosis/treatment services.

Retention Period of Personal Data

Your personal data will be processed and stored for the period required under applicable legislation. Upon expiration of such periods, your data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

Rights of the Data Subject Under Article 11 of KVKK

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,

• Request information if processed,

• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with this purpose,

• Learn the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad,

• Request correction if your data is incomplete or incorrect,

• Request deletion or destruction within the legal framework,

• Request notification of these processes to third parties,

• Object to outcomes against you arising from exclusively automated processing,

• Request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing.

You may exercise these rights by submitting your application to the Data Controller via the communication details provided below. Applications will be evaluated and responded to as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.
